Newborn Session

My friend had her baby girl on the 19th, and I offered to take newborn pictures for the announcements so that I could get a chance to shoot a newborn.

We chatted too long, so by the time I got to taking the pictures, we didn't have good light for long. I had also left my digital camera on on accident, so had to shoot the last few pictures with my film camera. I'm going back tomorrow to get a few more shots, but this is what I got today.


I think the 1st and 3rd ones are my favorites.

These were all on the film camera, they're much better on the prints, but the scans never look as good.

The last is by far the most powerful. I have an image similar to that of my wife holding my daughter's hand in the NICU framed as an 11x14 in our entryway.
