With his series on Utøya. Pretty strong set of images.
Many Norwegians don't like his winning second place for taking such shots, but I believe it's good photojournalism, making provoking, emotional shots. The real world isn't rainbows and unicorns, and the pictures, not only by Hammerström, show that.
Looking at his exif, he shot the second in his series at 35mm on a full frame body. He must have been only a few meters away..
But I still got a weird feeling looking through his set. A ball in the stomach.
What do you think? Are people rightfully upset?
