I'm glad you asked that, because I couldn't figure out that one. I first tried to upload the photo like I usually do, but the image was too large. Out of laziness, I didn't downsize the photo, I just attempted to link Flickr into this. I've seen others link Flickr showing a photo, so, what did I do wrong?

I don't know. Maybe there are some options just before you post the thread. I don't use Flickr, so I have no idea.

When you click the share arrow in Flickr, select BBCode from the menu, choose the size and copy the link into your post.
