It's sad that I live about 1.5 hours from Yosemite, but it's been exactly a year since I last visited the park. I got there around 2:30 in the morning and I was happy to see some snow in the trees and the ground. I bonus was having a near full moon.

Nice set, great to see some snow on the ground.

The compositions and scenes are beautiful, but I feel like it's missing a 'scenic night' feel to it. The stars are not that visible and neither is the moonlight. The last image is not that sharp to me. Beautiful images nevertheless, they all look very serene and preserved.

Really cool pics! How long were your exposures?

My goodness - stunning images.

Thanks everybody!

The stars are not that visible and neither is the moonlight.

They are as visible as they're going to get with a near full-moon. Without the moonlight, the features wouldn't be a visible.

I used a 5D, 17-40, ISO 800 to 1600, f/4, 10 to 25 second exposure.

To bad there weren't any climbers burning a lantern on El Cap or Half Dome.

I saw some climbers, but I can't remember where I saw them.
