Night time snow, cool light effect from streetlights C&C please

I took these photos the other night of my backyard at around 10pm. I thought the light was really cool so I couldn't resist snapping a few shots. There are two light sources, an exterior spotlight on the pool, and orange streetlights on a highway right behind the tree line. The light reflected off the snow and lit up the sky, and I thought created a great effect.

As a big-time novice, I'm starting to get away from auto and P modes, and these were shot in Shutter priority. Tell me what you think. :thumbup:

Yeah, I got pretty lucky with #1. I'm happy it came out like that.

Off hand, I would say, unlike #1, #2 doesn't have anything to hold the viewers interest.

1 is great. i think number 2 is kind of boring, may have been better if the exterior spotlight wasn't on.
