Nikkor 24-85 f/2.8-4

Has anyone used this on DX? Looks interesting, has a macro function, will go 1:2! Pretty fast 2.8-4.0.

Yes. It was the first lens I shot with when I got my D90 in 2008. I used it 100% of the time because it was the only lens that I could afford (given to me free by my sister in law). I used it for a year or two before upgrading to 2.8 glass. It's a good little lens, and the macro function was good enough for what I used it for. (2nd shooter wedding details - rings etc....)
