nikon 35mm f1.8G Aperture blades

This might sound weird, but I am just trying to understand if the lens I got is OK. :D

Please check the aperture blades in the attached picture. Is that how it is supposed to look ? Or is the supposed to go inwards rather than outwards ? :D

Yes. That's the way it looks from that side of the aperture.

If you want to, with the lens off the camera you can move the aperture lever on the lens mount and watch the aperture as you open and close it.

Yeah it's good. The back side of the blades is really what you need to worry about as far as function goes.
