Does the Nikon 60mm AF f/2.8 macro lens nikkor ai work with the Nikon N80 and D50

Yes, it would be fine on either body. ANY AF-Nikkor or AF-D Nikkor will work just fine on either an N80 or a D50, and BOTH bodies have the in-body AF motor. Your lens naming is a bit off...I assume you mean the 60mm f/2.8 AF-D Micro~Nikkor lens. I have one of those, and it DOES work on the older bodies like the N80, D50,and D70.
