Hello guys. I have Nikon 70-200 2.8 VR1, and for sure, I'm very happy with it. Anyway, I have noticed that my focus won't go further than between infinity (goes normal little past infinity) and it stops not on 1.5m, but between 1.7m and 1.5m. Should I be worried? I can't be sure If this problem was here before, I didn't payed much attention on it, because I was barely doing shots at that close distance. Body is D7100. Thank you in advance.

Nothing to worry about. I owned the lens for well over a decade...there's absolutely nothing wrong with the way MFD is handled on the lens. You're describing a known behavior.

ONE distance is for autofocus. If you want to focus it MORE closely, switch to manual focusing.

Some consider this behavior an oddity, but it's a well-known design feature of the lens.

Not a problem, one is for manual and one for auto, I have the latest 70-200 2.8 FL D VR and its almost the same, so I tend to pre focus the shot if possible.
