Nikon D 7200 freezing

Good morning everyone

I have had my Nikon D 7200 now for about two months. Yesterday not pushing any buttons or taking pictures the camera froze up. The camera appeared on but no buttons would work on off wouldn’t work. Eventually I took the battery out put it back in and all is fine. Has anyone else had this issue. I have used it quite a bit since then and has not happened again.

No, but you did what I would have done- reboot.

Appears that the latest version of firmware for that rig is 1.02. Have you looked at updating?

Most likely you did move some control somewhere. You did the correct fix.

Nikon lens or third party lens mounted on it?

Ya know, mine (D7200 also) did this the other day, the first time after a year and a half of owning it. I took out the battery and popped it back in, it's been fine since. No idea what it was.
