Not used my camera for a whilst and when i took some shots I thought the camera with my 35mm 1.8 is not focusing 100%. Today I took some more test shots using the 35mm and my 55-200. Please can you take a look at the link and post your thoughts.

Why can't I see anything wrong with focus

The images to me don't look very sharp, am I just being paranoid?

I do see some slight issues. How do you have your auto focus set?

There is AF mode, and AF area mode.

So AF-S, Single servo focus mode (page 239 of the D5100 user's manual) is generally used with the Single Point AF area mode (page 42).
AF-S and AF-A are both shutter priority focus modes. If the camera's AF module has determine AF has not been achieved, the shutter will not release.

Metering doesn't directly affect focus, but the metering mode can determine which AF points can be used.
Matrix and Center-weighted metering use the middle, cross-type AF point.
Spot metering meters at the selected AF point

The shots were all taken with AF-S and single point AF using the central focusing point.
