Nikon d70s vs. Canon Rebel XT

How do these cameras compare? I have a d70 and several friends have Rebel XT's. They always seem to get better results than I do. Honestly, I'd rather believe it's my skill level and not my camera. My skill level I can improve, but my camera... I'm going to be stuck with it for a while. :er:

So which is the better camera?

You should be able to produce great results with either camera.

The only reason I chose over a Nikon was because I had already a few different lenses from my 35mm camera that would work on the Xt. But I must admit, the Canon felt better then I was playing with them both at the store. And my Canon is sooo easy to use.
