Photos NOT OK to edit
Hello Everyone

I am attempting to photograph some object outside. My setup is awkward to say the least. The only way I can do it to set the timer, press the shutter release, shade the object and let the camera fire three shots bracketing the shot. The camera locks the exposier when I press the shutter release causing the image to be under exposed when the object is shaded. My remote shutter release is not working and I need to send it to Nikon for replacement or repair.

Is there anyway to get around my problem other than with the exposure compensation?

Thank you,

Roger

You could put it in manual mode...

If you're bracketing, shouldn't at least one of those shots be usable?

It sounds to me like you have three options - manual mode, exposure compensation, or just bracket more.
