NIKON DSL3100 WHAT LENS?

Hi All,
I am pretty new to this but am very enthusiastic. I am off to collegue in Sept to start a photography course.
Any advise what macro and wide angle lens to start with (Nikon or Nikon compatible). I
I will initialy be shooting on automatic settings until I become confident in manual control.
Any advice would be appreciated.

My advice is to keep what you have until you learn to shoot in manual and your feel good to shoot manual or A\S mode. unless you shoot serious wildlife you won't need more until you learn and advance out of auto mode. by then you will also know more what you like to shoot and how you like to shoot it, that will give you an idea of what additional lens to buy.
