I have Nikon Coolpix L830. Takes amazing pictures. I want to get an additional lens or filter and also an extra flash. I will be starting on a few small photo shoots and am having a hard time figuring out what tools I really should purchase right now? Do I need an extra zoom lense? Backdrop kit? Filters? I just don't know! Can someone please help!

If these are people shoots, I would probably think about adding fabric reflectors, so you can bounce light into the shadows, and actually SEE what the effect of that fill lighting is, in real time. I'd spend most of my time thinking about locations, and concepts and ideas, and models, and not too much about gear. Filters are generally not all that necessry, although they can be used to add in-camera diffusion, fog, or soft-focus type effects, but a lot of that can also be done in software. Do you have Lightroom or Photoshop, to edit the pictures? Software and post-shoot editing is a reallllllllly big deal these days.
