Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
The shutter is sticking on my D100 and there are no local camera stores that I trust to work on it. Can anyone recommend a good Nikon repair dealer?

Instead of repairing it, it might be cheaper to just buy a new body. You can get a D100 or D70 on craigslist for about the price of a shutter replacement.

I will second that!

Thanks, Mike. They said 'send it in and we'll let you know.' Guess I'll start looking for another one.

they will most likely say it is not ecnomical to repair and offer you 50 dollars off of a D80 or D300. at best..

Sent the camera to Nikon. They said $375 to repair the shutter, much more than it's worth! I told them to just return it. What do I do with the camera now? Trash it?

I have a question about lenses.

I recently bought a vintage nikkor NC 35mm f1.4 in
Mint condition. I shot some test with other lenses for comparison.

I noticed that with this lens my photos had a yellowish tint to them as compared with the rest of the photos on the same roll.

Does anyone understand why and is it inherent to this lens?

Or is there something wrong with this particular lens?

Any info apprecitated.

thanks
