Nikon Shutter Release App IOS

Is there an App downloadable from iTunes that will act as a shutter release for a full frame Nikon.

Nikon have this app called Nikon Mobility Utility or something that like that and its pure dirt.

A) I'm looking for something that just works via infra red or if it is wifi then not the type that attempts to upload the photo to my phone.

B) doesn't need some extra thing on the camera.

In short I want the ml3 remote thing on the phone as the one I have doesn't work and I was forever losing it.

Does the iPhone even have infrared??
I'm pretty sure my current and past ones don't.

I use the Nikon app for its shutter release
And it doesn't auto download pics .. Check your settings.

That's probably why iPhones don't have an IR-driven app. The ML-L3 uses infrared to trigger the camera. Lacking an IR output LED, the iPhone simply cannot mimic an ML-L3.



But there's plenty of Android options.

I must look at the app again cause straight out it of the box was attempting to upload via wifi rather then send it towards the card, that seemed stupid

No it doesn't have IR which is a inconvenience. I only have iPhone 4s
