What's the Nikon slr equivalent to the Canon eos 3?

The Nikon F5 I think. I am not too sure about that though.

F90 or F100 equivalent seems to have been the consensus on photo.net discussion boards at the time (1998):

The EOS 3 definitely predates the F5. Probably is the N90s.

I did a little more research and I think your right.

I'd say the eos 3 and f100 are closest in terms of features and build quality.

I think I'm going to look for a f100 on ebay.
