Noob from NY

Hi everyone. I just picked up a used Sony A3000 ($180 on eBay) in anticipation of my first kid, but I always loved taking photos. I'll be taking snapping shots of about everything with it. So far I've taken shots of my yard, dog, dirty car, sky and trees, and tried taking night sky photos while trying to get used to all the settings. I think I'll be having lots of fun once I get the hang of it.
