Very nice. I don't know that I am a big fan of the cropping on the first one with the tip of the flower cut off, but that is a matter of opinion. Great shots!

I see. I guess your right. I am trying to understand composition which I believe will be most difficult for me since I am an engineer. I get the the technical but not always the artist touch.

Any suggestions of how to correct now.

2nd one is pretty- putting the horizon off-center might make it interesting, but that's just one of those "rules".

Well first I got lucky because a am really new at this. So I hope there is more this to come.

Next, I used a circular polarized filter and a really calm day so there we no ripples in the water.
