Noobie from Virginia

Hello everyone :]

I'm Lisa, been lurking around the site for a couple days and decided to register :mrgreen:

Photography is just a hobby of mine, but I'm excited to learn more about my camera's capabilities and take better pictures. Over the past year or so I've realized how much I enjoy taking photos, so I wanted to upgrade from my point-and-shoot to a DSLR.

And a few tidbits on me....I'm 27, and live in Virginia Beach but I'll be moving to Spain this summer for 3 years (omg! :mrgreen

My husband and I are both into cars, so a lot of my photos have been car-related so far. But I love taking scenic and macro-type photos as well.

Welcome Lisa. Have you ever taken one of the Whale watching tours avaiable in your area? I've been tempted to try it, but wasn't sure if it would be worth the drive.
