NOOO! Yesterday, I went down to the beach at night, and I had gone because the water was glowing (yes, it was glowing bright blue, because of some algae) Anyway, I took some excellent shots that night, and then the next day, i was going to develop them when, lo and behold, my camera tore the film as it was rewinding it. It tore maybe the first 1/4th of it, is the film inside still useable? If so, would I just go about developing it like it was normal? Please, reply fast, I have to see if they came out by noon tomorrow.

Any film that was inside the cassette is fine. It can be processed normally. Of course the film that tore off was completely fogged when you opened the camera back.

Most labs around here let you inspect your photos before you pay, and don't charge for the ones that didn't turn out.
