Things have been crazy this week now that I'm out at the marine lab and back from Korea. I haven't had a moment to shoot all week and the fog has completely socked us in so hopes of sunsets or startrails have had to be shelved temporarily. That said I got out to snap off a few last night. One, ended up as my photo for this week in my 52 Weeks project. While this one didn't quite make it.

By the time I was off work and out near the beach, it was already too dark so I couldn't pick up too much detail on the coast itself. The passing cars made up for it, and I had some fun seeing how they lit up the surrounding fog, bushes, and wildflowers. You could even still see a bit of the coastline below, hiding in the shadows. I might give a similar shot a go another night if I can get out early enough to still catch the sunset, providing that these overcast skies let up. I haven't seen blue in a week.
