Not new, but it has been a while...

Greetings after a somewhat lengthy hiatus from these (and many other) forums. It's nice to see a busy, well populated forum with many helpful and insightful posts. Unfortunately my participation over the next few months will be somewhat limited; I am one month into a six and one half month government funded trip around the world with a four month layover in the Middle East. On the bright side, [hopefully] lots of opportunity for good travel photos.
