Went to NYC this Saturday and brought my Camera along. It is such an awesome city! Its the first time I have been there and I had a great time.

Here are my favorite three photos from the day, I took a ton!

1. Tried doing a pan on the taxi, I think it turned out pretty well and I thought the B&W gave it a better feel.

2. The Empire State Building, I might try and lighting up the left side of the picture if I can, I think it might be a little distracting because it is darker then the right side.

3. Yes another B&W but I really like this picture, probably my favorite of the day.

1) maybe a slower shutter and longer panning.

I think a longer shutterspeed as well for No. 1. With a longer shutterspeed, I think panning might also look better if it's in color (depending on the background). Some backgrounds don't always work that great for panning. Here's an article on panning if you're interested.

I still think it's a good moment in time shot of city life. Which is what I like about number 3 too!

Yep, No 2 would be enhanced by some lightening.
