OH the Detail..

put a extension tube on my 50-100mm art lens since it wont focus up close, was able to get a nice close up shot of this leaf, kind of amazing how much detail there is on something so simple.

If you continue to shot macros like this one, you will find out that nature does, in fact, hide a lot of detail from the casual observer. This is a nice shot, but, for me it is slightly over exposed - some of the detail is lost in the top/upper part of the leaf. I would bring down the highlights just a bit and increase the Clarity and or Vibrance just a bit. If you are working in Photoshop, then a slight Curves adjustment might do the trick.
