i have a nikon f2a camera and an sb-800 flash.
question, is there any way i can use the sb-800 in my f2a as an off camera flash or mounted?

thanks.

It should work mounted. Off camera, you'd probably have to use a pc cable.

My SB-600 works with my FE, although i've only played with it just now to see if it would. I've only used the SB-10 with it when film's inside.

But uhh.. Since you have both.. why don't you test it?

Does the sb 800 have it's own meter? If not, you'll have to go manual mode.

Whoops.. I didn't realize the F2 had that weird flash shoe.. Apparently an adapter is available

i saw that adaptor at helix, the guy there showed me two sizes and they both don't fit on my f2a.

is there a chord like one goes in the hole at the camera and the other on the bottom of the flash? kinda like an adaptor too but with chord.
