Old Canon film guru's

I have a Canon F-1, serial # 150447 ( yes, it's an old one ) If I get a motor drive for it, does it matter if it is a long throw or not? It should just advance the film until the next frame correct? TIA

why not just called canon customer service, they are very helpful.

Thank's, I thought of that. But the body was made in '71 or '72, and I figured it was older than most of the people working there.

Yes, if it works, it will advance the film to the next frame.
