Over time , I acquired several Ist generation Fuji cameras on close out , mainly to add to the lens count.
A massive change from my time with entry level DSLRs.
Finally , I succumbed to an XP2 because I fell for the OVF with the new budget 35 f1:8,
I am well set up now, because old Fujis seemed to lose value rapidly.
Not the case now , used prices now make my acquisitions remarkable value.
The quirks of the market or a new appreciation.

There's some mystique surrounding the16mp X-Trans II sensor/processor as responsible for a distinct Fuji "look." Can only guess it actually boils down to the missing AA filter and the unique color filter array that differs from the usual Bayer pattern. Still, there is the "herd of independent minds" factor that can drive prices.

I've got three Fuji oldies with the 16mp sensor and have no plans to part with them. Shoot my X-100T almost daily. Jonesing for a clean XP2.
