I saw this old carriage at a heritage railway line in Norfolk. It was without its wheels, propped up on some sleepers. It looked like someone's renovation project. I hope it hits the rails again.

Great find! And I love the processing...really gives it that 'abandoned but (hopefully) not yet derelict' look.

Thanks Battou & Antarctican. I'm thinking if the rotten wood was replaced, some wood strips were made to re-cover the exposed joins, the metal work was cleaned up, and a few good layers of paint laid down, it might have a future as a static display, or, who knows, behind an engine on a preserved line. I increased the tonal contrast of this image to accentuate the detail.

Regards, Tony
