Here are a couple of photos from the town of Oldenburg in the region of Oldenburg (yes, needs to be said, for there's another Oldenburg in the region of Holstein), where my daughter swims twice per week while I must while away my time:

I always enjoy your posts of your part of Germany. Wish you'd post more often! I like triangular buildings like the town hall. The last one is my favorite.
