Today I made a little trip to the Oostvaardersplassen. This local nature reserve has quite some water, reed and birds (and some larger animals).

I tried making the images a little cleaner in Photoshop, some had some vague powerlines in the distance while others had some dirt in the water. Also I had loads of noise in the water, neat image did the trick, I just hope it didn't take out too much detail. Please comment, thanks in advance!

I like the yellow and blue hues. The tones are very subtle and relaxing.

For me, I don't like the frames. They somewhat distort your compositions. The compositions are nice, but I really have to look beyond the frame to take it all in.

Hmm, will have to look into a new type of frame than, yesterday I also got complaints on them for my other post...THNX!

I really like the silhouetted duck. That's an excellent shot. They all look wonderful, but I agree with Woodsac about the frames. Perhaps a watermark would be better. They aren't as distracting.

Nice series. 1, 6 and 8 are my faves. (I like how my eye is drawn into the shot in #1, the silhouettes/reflections in #6, and the composition/view in #8 )

Well, also I was thinking how beautiful that place is, how well you captured it - but also how much your frames distract from the view. Something simply black all around your photo could be nice.

I do like that lone grebe in Photo 3, and the same (?) again, only as a swimming silhouette in golden water in Photo 6, but I am also quite taken in by your very simple, yet quite effective composition of Photo 5 ... I love those reflections!
