Sometimes the most simplistic shots are the most powerful. Well done!

@NS: Nikon Shooter I know you're an experienced shooter based on your work, but there's something predominate throughout all of them that I'm confused about. When viewing on multiple different devices they usually appear just a tad dark. They aren't necessarily underexposed as a luminosity histogram of this one shows there's data all the way to the right.

. I would expect a left leaning bell curve to the left in this type of image, but the lack of data from midtones on up to highlights, creates almost a flat monotone effect. Is this a processing choice? Or is it a monitor calibration difference?

… Or is it a monitor calibration difference?

I publish my pictures for a specific clientele that is mainly pros
in the edition/publication industry. They should see on screen
colours and tones as they could appear in a subtractive image.
So there is a bias right there plus my screens are all in sync with
theirs.

Thank you for ringing the bell, smoke! :)

Nice concept.

Great work

Ahh, knew there had to be something. Color/brightness shift for me is one of my OCD hangups. For standard work I use the international sRGB IEC1966 2.1 ICC profile rather than sRGB on export . Supposedly it gives a better response across different viewing screens, who knows. LOL For print work I use the ICC profile of the lab, create a virtual copy of the original and soft proof to their profile.
