Does anyone use Paint.net? How does it relate to the $100+ Photoshop Elements?

You don't have to pay $100+ for Photoshop Elements 10 - Adobe Photoshop Elements 10

Elements 10 is pretty new. So new, I don't know what it has different from what Elements 9 had.

Paint.net is open source software designed and maintained by a volunteers as is Photoscape, and GIMP.

Photoshop Elements includes a Raw image data file converter (a truncated veersion of Adobe Camera Raw - ACR), an image organiser/browser, and direct access to Adobe Photoshop Elements training and learning resources that are included with the purchase price of Elements 10. (just press F1 on your keyboard (or click on HELP) once Elements is open on your computer and you have internet access)

IIRC none of the open source applications mentioned above include a Raw converter, image browser, and instruction/training tutorials.

There are way more online tutorials for Photoshop Elements than for the other 3 open source applications.
