I think it turned out good. It's too bad there wasn't a hair light.

candid portrait shooter have to aware of the background. Dark haired people should be on light backgrounds to be safe. Blondes on dark backgrounds unless you have a back light in your pocket. Most of us don't.

I like it..I think though that her face is a bit washed out.

I found myself looking at her facial skin tone compared to her hand and it is a bit off

thanks for your replies guys. I will have to edit the picture a bit. I didn't tell her to pose or anything, I believe she was fixing her hair and struck a pose. Lighting isn't perfect since it was coming from above the table and not above her. But it's decent.
