I have passed this shed for the last 40+ years and wish I had taken a shot of it back then to compare the passage of time

I love what you did to this photo too. I really am interesting in the effect that you used.

Well getting this effect is quite easy. Once you have converted the photo to Black and White create another layer of white over it (in a different layer) then using the eraser just erase throught the white to the photo untill you get the effect that you want. If you take away too much then just paint it back in. Have fun--Lenny
