Patiently Waiting

This is a shot I took while I was walking the dog. I like the composition, but I think a different aperture setting would have made it quite better; the DoF should be more shallow, in my opinion.

What do you guys think?

I actually really like it with the bg in focus. There are a million people with shallow DOF photos of their dogs. There's something about it that oddly looks kind of like a portrait.

I agree with MaxBloom. The country side definitely adds to the image. Nice work.

I love the picture, i usually don't find pet pictures interesting but there i something about this one. The only thing i would do is use the shadow/highlight tool on photo shop to brighten up the pup here my take on it:

Very sharp. What kind of lens? And wut aperature did you use?

Love it! Don't change the DOF. Maybe you could do something about the ball: it would be nice if it were even more noticeable. (Oh, and I'm not so sure about the title)
