questions, questions, questions! :]

If any of you read my thread before you mayy know that I'm starting out (hence the beginner's forum) and that my friend was going to let me use her Pentax k100d camera. I want to start taking classes, workshops, etc and was wondering if any of you knew any in the south shore massachusetts area (I would love to travel to boston and take classes there but right now I simply don't have the time to do so... one day though!) I want to start out small and locally so that would be perfect. I was wondering if anyone has used the aforementioned camera and if it would be helpful for the classes (I'm assuming, but hey ya never know!) If you have any more info on the camera it would be great because I probably wont get it for a week or a couple weeks.

part two! I LOVE this forum and I am soo glad I found it.. i definitely got lucky! I was wondering what other forums and websites you guys go to for photography... whether it be challenges, tutorials, learning, anything I would love to check them out! Diversify, I guess you could call it :) learn from different views

haha almost done, sorry!

Also I have an idea for my first portrait session with a friend and I was wondering what some of your favourite locations in south shore mass are... or places you have shot... one place in particular Im looking for is a field or locations with high grown grass, graffiti, a broken down look..grungy urban.. that have you, but I am more than definitely excited to look at other locations!

Kudos if you read all of that... I tend to ramble on

Can't help with lessons or camera (wrong country/never used that camera before)
But here is some info:

A large collection of articles which are well worth reading up on - a spread of processing and technical help

As for other forums, I am on a few like here which are generalist in approach - I am on one which is specific to my main subject area interest - wildlife - which is Juza forum:
