Peppers and Leaf C&C

hey all, seem to have gotten good responses w/ these in the beginner forum...so i thought i'd share them here. Still a newb, but trying hard.

I think they both look great.. kinda 'standard' composition.. but well done. The only thing I would suggest is crop out the blown out section on the bottom right of the first photo.

nobody commented even though tons saw it so i thought that meant it was bad enough to ignore LOL

They both seem to be a bit cool on the white balance, the highlights seem bluish instead of white on the first
