We were hanging out in Mr. Rabbit's shop yesterday and I messed around shooting the rafters and roof for about the bazillionth time. I absolutely love the textures and light but I've never gotten the lines to my liking.

This time around I was lining up different lines making sure they were horizontal or vertical to see how the other lines played off of it. As I was going through the shots this one stood out, because I couldn't find the perfect vertical or horizontal.

The top edge of the center black rafter is obviously at an angle...right?

My eyes and brain tell me it is...but the grid overlay tells me different, that line is pretty much perfectly horizontal.... weird!

interesting... the bottom one is definitely off.. and that helps contribute to the illusion on the middle one... the diagonals really do play with it, don't they? lol!
