Anyone know of any good free software that is simliar to iView or ACDSee?

yeah, i just downloaded it b/c i was curious to see what it was like. to my surprise it's very intuitive and simple to use.

I'm glad you like it. I adopted it as part of my workflow to look over my pictures from the day and discovered it had a lot of power behind it. I especially like the printing setup it has. So much better than Photoshop's.

I've played around with IrfanView. Anyone used it? Is Picasa any better?

Download Picasa2 and tell us which one you like better. http://picasa.google.com/
In the meantime, I'll check out the program you suggested.

I'll have to try them at home. Here at work, I have to get an administrator to install stuff for me. It's a real P.I.T.A.

I had them install ACDSee, as that's what I've always used...but the latest version, 7.0, is only a limited time, trial version. If I could find ACDSee version 6, I would just use that.
