Photo editing software recommendation

I have Corel Paint Shop Pro Photo XI, and a problem I have with this is in sizing an image. I have to use word 7 to resize an image, copy, then paste as new image in psp. What a pain!

So does photoshop lightroom have any kinks in the armor that needs to be known? or aperture?

I use PSE7....

The majority of the time I use it to sharpen/crop and slightly adjust lighting and color saturation and that's it for most photos. Of course it's much more capable than that, and I have used it for more but that's what I do with it MOST of the time. For me it's a great program and the price is affordable for me.

Bibble Pro and Bibble Lite from Bibblelabs are definitely worth a look. You can download a free trial version before you buy. Is is not a Photoshop clone though. It is more of a workflow software such as Lightroom and Aperture.
