Hi,
I shoot pictures of sunglasses using a white box --

I also use:

3 - 500W flood lights (one over head , 1 on left, 1 on right)

However becuase i need to constantly reposition the camera -- and the camera needs to be further away than the front of the light box -- it doesnt work well for me to use the front cover to my light box--
which causes the following problem:

except I wouldnt see the camera-- but i would see the edges of the light box.

Ideally i would not like to see any variations in the lens(except the ones from the lens itself) ie. i dont want to see anything that is going on in the background (the edges of the tent...: Similar to

Im not sure what I need to do to achive this
so I am looking for some recommendations

Any help much appreciated

Maybe could you use a lens that doesn't have to be so far back from the light tent?

Another option would be to make a 'sock' for the front of light tent. Just white fabric that attached to the front of the box and then comes down to a small end that could go around the lens.

Hi Mike,

thanks for the tip.

Whats your thoughts on getting a setup , with out using the product tent/cube.

I tried to shoot some shots without using the tent and I have to say that the "glossyness" of the frame and the color of the lens seems better-- though the shadows are a real mess( when not using any diffusion).

The question is will these benefits still be there when the light is diffused.

Since I never shot anything or had a setup without using the light cube,
I was wondering your thoughts on this,
and recommendations as to equipment I would need to get a good set up for this.

Advice appreciated
