Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
I have been using Photomatix and utilizing the sliders to adjust the image. Then I am exporting the image to Photoshop to utilize the clone stamp etc. I notice in Photoshop that under the title Image there is a sbutitle "Adjustments" which has all the sliders of Photomatix plus more. Thus, any disadvantage of processing in Photoshop and taking their default settings and then using Photoshop rather than the Photomatix sliders to tune the image?

First off, which versions of Photomatix and Photoshop are you talking about? Big differences between the last versions and the present versions of each.

Cannot rely on one, you have to use everything if you're talking HDR

I personally use like 4 different softwares sometimes on the same image, so it's broad, and I cannot really rely on one software

I have used photoshop, photomatix and nik hdr pro. I find have gotten great results with photomatix but HDR pro has a unique method and has control points which is very cool! IT can give a more painterly quality image and add has a method tab that you can choos many other methods that will make or break your image. Its not to expensive I think $99. I really have not gotten great results with photoshop.

I use Photomatix but only for capturing the dynamic range. Everything else I do in Photoshop. The image that comes out of Photomatix is very neutral, so I can take it a number of different ways depending on my mood.
