Can others edit my Photos
Photos OK to edit
Hi,

I was wondering how do i achieve this look in photoshop. The link is below.. pay attention to the left side of the image where everything is in red. I am very curious &would like to do something like this for my next story.

cate underwood.

Not a PS user, but in GIMP it's called "Colorfy".

It's 2 different images on one canvas, which is called a composite or a collage. There are several ways the image on the left could have been made red.

Open Photoshop. At the top of the workspace click on 'Help'.

You don't mention what version, release of Photoshop you have.

i have cs4 if that helps

For the red half take any pic and convert to B&W. Then in RGB select your color (Red) and paint the image in Color Mode. Paste that image in position on top of your other image. Flatten and thats it.

Besides a very little bit of post-processing skills, one also needs a cage to hold the models while you starve them into cachectic stick figures.

Thanks for the lovely, and contributing input.

For the red, convert your image to a monotone (see PS help files for how to
do that). For the "shadow" effect, duplicate the layer, reduce layer opacity
to about 30%, and shift it out of alignment with the original.
