Photoshop Before/After

Alright, the "Is photoshop cheating?" thread inspired this. I want to see how everyone uses photoshop and similar programs. I'll start with another one of mine:

There was a bunch of flowers, and out of all the red ones, there was one yellow, I thought it was kinda neat, but as you can see, the picture came out dull, and the flower had a few tears in it... Soooo, out with those... hehe. I went reallly heavy with the contrast difference, maybe too much? I kinda like it, though. It looks almost like a flower you would expect to see in a fairy tale or something... heh...

So how about a short rundown on how you did it?

My guess is hue/saturation for the colors and clone stamp to fix the tear.

Colour Curves and cloning! Yeah, basically I just patched the holes with existing flower on the photo, and then messed with the curves until I got the desired product!

its not the exact photo, but its the same door knob ... i saturated the color, added a layer with mask, overlay ... sharpened, cropped ... and played with some other filters
