Photoshop Challenge (#3)

Out on a walk with my son the other day and I grabbed this in the park we were in. The lighting was harsh and this was the best I could do with what I had. The photo is untouched and I'd love to see what some of you could do with this ... if it's worth it :mrgreen:

I was just gonna try and tweak it, and do some minor adjustments, but while messing with the levels, I ended up doing this.

This is what I came up with...

Sure, I converted it to B/W with the channel mixer. I can't remember the exact settings but I remember I set the blue channel to zero. I then adjusted the level of the sky and statue separately, darkening the sky and lightening the statue. Finally I converted it to a duotone. Im glad you like it, congrats on a nice shot
