Photoshop fix for this girl?

I like this picture, but I want her face to be a little brighter. Can that be done without messing with the rest of the photo?

lasso her face with a feather of about 25 and brighten it seperately

Yes I already did that, but it didn't brighten enough without looking weird. I thought maybe there was a different technique.

If you've already lassoed her face and brightened it up separately (which already shows, by the way, as it is beginning to show colour noise from all the brightening) then ... I wouldn't know what else can still be done in pp, either.

And you can't go any further. Look at all the colour noise you've got already.

But I do see why you WOULD like to make this even better! Alas, I'm afraid... there is no way...

You could try using curves and eyedropper the face and increase the slope...it will also brighten other areas, but it's worth a try...
