I was shooting an adult birthday party Saturday Night and they started dancing in the darkened room. Only had the DSLR and no lights but tried to capture it anyway.
Loaded the video into Photoshop and applied the Levels and Vibrance filters, cropped it a tad and rendered the new video file.
Photoshop did a surprisingly good job of making an unusable video into a usable video. Not great but usable...
