Photoshop problem

Hi, I have Photoshop CS2 and all of a sudden I can't save in jpg format. When I click on "save as" there is no option for JPG in the drop down window. Has anyone ever had this happen and is there a fix for it?

Are you editing in 8bit?
If not then I belive that JPEG files can only be 8bit at most.

That was my guess too... Image/Mode.. -S

AHHH, thank you gentlemen. That is whats going on. I started out in raw and converted to tiff. They were in 16 bit and I didn't realize it. Thanks again.
